Stora huset, Lådna

Sandy beach about 500 m, 2 bikes, shop on the island, 30 m to the steamboat pier, several boat trips a day for excursions to other islands.

Land and buildings The house is older and has simple furnishings. The apartment is located on the upper floor of the house, a staircase leads up to the apartment. Apartment on the ground floor is used by the owner's family but it is not rented out to others. Hosts stay there only occasionally as well as upon arrival and departure. At the back of the house there is a lawn with apple trees and outdoor furniture as well as barbecue. At the front you go straight down to the beach cliffs, about 10 m. The house has a small balcony with table and some chairs facing the sea. The view is wonderful and there are many boats in the narrow passage outside. Only 30m to the landing stage Karlshem where you go by Waxholm boat. Sandy beach is about 500 m from the cottage.

Bedroom and beds One bedroom with two single beds 2x90 cm, one bedroom with two single beds 2x80 cm, one bedroom with bunk bed 2x90 cm.

Kitchen and water The kitchen is equipped with dining table, wood stove, stove with oven, fridge freezer, micro, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, stove fan and radio. Water from own well, shared with neighbors and used sparingly.

Bathroom One bathroom with shower and tub, sink, wc. A toilet with sink and toilet.

Other rooms A living room with sofas and tv.

Other Mobile coverage is good. The house has a wood stove in the kitchen, 3 tiled ovens, of which you can cook in two according to instructions from the host, when burning in special manner in tiled ovens. Include your own wood. Also include grilling charcoal if you wish to grill. There are 2 bicycles shared with guests in other houses.

On the island there is a small shop www.ladnamacken.se. There are many Waxholm boat trips to Karlshems pier and excursions to nearby islands, Ingmarsö, Svartsö, Hjälmö and Husarö. Ingmarsö and Svartsö have both grocery stores and taverns. You can also take trips to the beautiful archipelago town of Vaxholm. Playground is approximately 250 m from the cottage. There is also a foot path on the island, the track consists of 10 stations and is about 300 meters long.

At Hjälmö there is Västergården, a visitor's farm with exhibition and a nature and cultural trail. The farm shows the importance of the small-scale archipelago farm for the cultural landscape and biodiversity.

The farm shop is open from May to September. Here you can buy different products from the farm, such as sheepskin, but also art crafts from local artists.
During May-September, you can buy things like ice cream and eggs every day and pay in the can.

For rent weekly with Sunday to change. Maybe weekends can be rented in low season on request. Final cleaning can be arranged on request for 2000 kr. Sheets / towels can be booked for 195 kr / person. Upon arrival at the cottage, a security deposit of 1500 SEK is payed which is returned upon departure when the house is left in good condition. Discount on other rental week 15%

It has occurred that wells dried out in the archipelago. We therefore urge our tenants to be careful about water consumption with regard to access and environment.
