Röda gårdshuset, Resarö

The plot has a sandbox, swings and more as well as a private jetty with a ladder and sandy beach next to it. There’s a lot of fun activities to partake in in the immediate area.

Plot and buildings
The red farmhouse is situated on a large nice plot overlooking the sea and the garden. This oasis is shared with the owners who live in other houses on the plot. In total there are 4 houses on the property, all with their own patios and private feeling. The property's private pier is only used by the family and those who rent the Red Farmhouse, bathing ladder and sandy beach are available. On the plot there are sandbox, swings, trampoline, soccer goals, these are all used at your own risk of course. The cottage has a sunny terrace with dining area and charcoal grill. Bedrooms and beds
There are three bedrooms in total. The first bedroom has a double bed, 160x200 cm. The second one has a single bed, 105x200. And the final bedroom boasts a bunkbed.

Kitchen and water
Kitchen, dining area and living room in open plan. The kitchen is well equipped and has a kitchen island that provides good work space. Dining area for 4-6 people. Equipped with a stove, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kettle, micro, coffee maker, toaster, cooker hood and lastly a radio.
Sadly, wells have begun to dry out more often in the archipelago. Therefore, we ask that all our tenants show some restraint in the amount of water that they make us of. Please be as conservative as possible.

Bathroom
The bathroom features a WC, washing basin and a shower.

Other rooms
The living room has a very comfortable sofa and armchairs, there’s also a TV. You can exit the living room directly on to the patio. Here you’ll have a great view of the garden and ocean.

Miscellaneous
Mobile coverage is good and internet with wifi is available.
An hour to Arlanda and about 35 minutes to Stockholm.
150 meters from the house is Mysbryggan which is a public bathing area. 400 meters away is the Myrstigsbadet with a sandy beach. 700 meters away Buskuddsbadet with jetty and cliffs. 2 km from the house you will find the Överby bath, with sandy beach, jetty, playground, beach volleyball, barbecue area, changing room and large lawn that invites you to play.

Just 8 km to the incredibly charming archipelago town of Vaxholm. There is a lot to do and experience here. The city is the hub of the archipelago's boat traffic and you can make boat trips out into the archipelago or into Stockholm. Here you will find cafés, cozy walks among charming old houses, restaurants, ice cream parlors, archipelago shopping. In Vaxholm there is also every possible service and a tourist office in the City Hall. It only takes 30 minutes to go to Stockholm if you would rather do so. Close to Eriksö where you can rent a kayak and play mini golf. Guest harbor is also available in Vaxholm.
Between Vaxholm and Rindö lies Waxholm Castle on a separate island, where there is a restaurant and there are also theater and music programs arranged in the summer.

On nearby Rindö, accessible via road ferry from Vaxholm, is the restaurant Kajkanten, which serves among other things wood oven baked pizza. If you follow Rindövägen's entire route from Rindö ferry site you will reach Stenslätten's ferry terminal. The ferries take you to Värmdö. There is a summer grove at the ferry station on Värmdösidan and 6 km away is Siggesta farm, which is a wonderful excursion destination where you can eat, enjoy coffee, go on a backpacking sunday, play football, pat the animals and much more.

At Stenslätten's ferry station on Rindö lies an old military facility, Oscar Fredriksborg, which is now a residential area where the barracks have been converted into apartments. It is a nice marine excursion destination that also has guest harbor, Restaurang Batteriet, Waxholm's brewery and a cheese maker with shop.

Cleaning can be booked for SEK 1,800.

Sheets and towels can be booked on request, cost 150 SEK / person.
